Her mother as a senior and friend

Her mother, Ha Seok-mi, is a traveler with disabilities and active lecturer to change awareness of disabilities. When they are together, they often hear phrases like 'What a poor pair, a mother and daughter...' accompanied by puzzled looks due to their shared short stature.

Her mother, Ha Seok-mi, is an active disabled traveler and a lecturer on disability awareness. When they are together, they often hear people say, 'What a coincidence, mother and daughter both...' as the elderly begin to wag their tongues. This is because both Chan-mi and her mother have the same form of dwarfism.
However, Chan-mi and her mother share experiences and depend on each other. Chan-mi sees her mother as a mentor in life, providing advice and becoming a friend with whom she can communicate. Despite the challenges of dealing with people's stares, they now enjoy it, thinking, 'I am a special person.‘

Born in 1999, Park Chan-mi is not the kind of ‘Candy’ who doesn't cry even when feeling lonely or sad, but rather a member of Generation Z who boldly confronts discrimination and prejudice. She says, 'Disability is a form of diversity, which should be respected. On stage, diversity truly becomes art.‘
