KIM Namje (Male, physical disability)
KIM Namje has been skiing since he was six years old.
He was a professional skier from his 3rd year of elementary school until graduating from university, and was a member of the national team from 1980 to 1985.
After graduating from university, he joined the Muju Resort Sports Management Team and worked passionately, including ski lessons, but fell while landing on a paraglider during the Children's Day event prime minister's rehearsal on May 4, 1992, and became a paraplegic spinal cord disorder.
He became the first Korean athlete to participate in the labor Paralympics in 1998 and led as the coach of the Korean national team at the Salt Lake Winter Paralympics in 2002 and the Tory Labor Paralympics in 2006
After the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Paralympics, he became a legend of Korean disabled skiing by finishing his activities in the sports community for the disabled.
As a wheelchair dance athlete, he ranked 1st in Asia, 3rd in Asia's first pre-Latin field at the 2013 World Championships in Russia, and 4th in the world in 5 combination Latin fields, raising Korea's wheelchair dance sports to the world level.
After his disability, he drew pictures, wrote poems, worked as a poet, and then went to song festivals to sing and won awards that helped him to develop his dream of becoming a singer.
Kim Nam-je, who won the gold medal for participating in the 2019 Ieum Song Festival, a project to discover stars for the disabled, debuted as a singer while publishing his first digital single, "Desperado" and is currently active.
