PARK Hwan, the Painter with Spring in His Eyes

PARK Hwan (Male, Visual Impairment)

After graduating from high school, he painted Korean paintings for more than 25 years.

In 1998, he invited to Culture and Arts Foundation exhibition, and from then, entered the Korean Fine Arts Competition 5 times. 

After considering the diversity of materials and colors, he switched to Western painting, held an individual exhibition, and participated in a group exhibition.

In 2013, going through a car crash accident, he was able to talk and eat through rehabilitation, however had completely lost his eyesight. 

The following year, he challenged himself to painting again and held a solo exhibition at the gallery Coop in 2017, followed by at KT&G Sangsang Madang Chuncheon Art Museum, Chuncheon National Museum, and Ulsan Hyundai Art Museum until 2021, then participated in group exhibitions. 

In April 2022, 1st Ablind Blind Artist Exhibition: [Together, Spring] was held.
