Yeon-doo's real name is KO Yeonsoo. She passed the first test as a tour interpreter after graduating from university in 2017 and joined a travel agency in March 2020. Taking in charge of traveling arrangements to Europe, COVID-19 hit the world 2 months later, and her work place shut down, following an accident 2 months later herself, leaving her at the hospital. 

She, who created the character ‘Yeon-du’ as her alter ego, constantly posted "Yeon-du's Rehabilitation Diary" on Instagram to let people know about her experiences in the hospital as a webtoon artist.
