Baek Ji-eun

After failing university entrance exams and taking a gap year, Baek Ji-eun became paralyzed from a traffic accident while returning home from a brief outing with friends. Before the accident, she aspired to study fashion, but after becoming dependent on a wheelchair, she shifted his focus from fashion to art.
She chose Baekseok University for its accessibility, even though it did not have an art program. Instead, she enrolled in the Department of Design and Media and pursued art studies at an art academy. She held her first solo exhibition in 2011, and after holding a solo show in France in 2017, she has been invited to participate in curated exhibitions in the United States, Germany, and other countries.
In 2014, she earned a national certification in cultural and arts education from Chung-Ang University and has since participated in various public art projects. In 2023, she received a Prize at the Leewonhyeong Awards. To make her work more accessible and easier to share, she is also involved in a merchandise business.
